Product description

Rubber high pressure steam hose according to EN ISO 6134/2A. Due to the seamless extruded, homogenueous tube produced from CIIR (chlorobutyl) this hose has a very low permeability (lower than general EPDM steam hoses) and therefore it has a reduced chance of popcorning. The braided steel reinforcements make this hose very flexible. Suitable for saturated steam with temperatures up to 210 °C and superheated steam (temporarily) up to 232 °C with a maximum working pressure of 18 bar. With heat- and ozone resistant cover which is pinpricked to prevent blistering.Always use Steam couplings and Steam clamps for this hose. It is not recommended to swage or press couplings on this hose.Electrical properties: Type OHM/T, conductive cover and liner (R < 106 OHM, R < 109 true the hose wall)
